^top of page^ Moving1. Right click on the folder/file (and with out letting go of the mouse button) drag (move) the folder/file to the place where you want it, then release the right mouse button and choose "Move Here" {Fig 4-1}, from the popup menu. In this same menu you will also find the options to "Create a short cut here", the difference is, that if you move it, it will no longer be in the place it was, if you only create a short cut then the folder will remain where it was and what you will have is a short cut to that original place. This is if you want several way of getting to a program/folder, but don't want to waste a lot of disk space putting the actual folder/program in each folder/drive you want it in. The "Copy Here" option will make a copy, you will have all the files/programs in both places. ![]() ^top of page^ ViewingTo be able to see the file extensions of your files, (1) Open Windows Explorer and choose View from the Menu {Fig 6-1} (2) Choose Folder Options {Fig 6-2} |
